    Hospital Manager

    Jessica has been with Fort Hunt since 2014. She has her Bachelor's degree in Biology from University of Mary Washington and her A.A.S. in Veterinary Technology from NOVA Community College. Her main interests are radiology, dentistry, and exotic and pocket pets. Her favorite thing about Fort Hunt are all the different personalities she gets to work with and how everyone gets along so well. She enjoys spending time with her husband and daughters, talking all things Disney, and trying new craft beers. Her own pets include a pug named Leeloo, a three-legged cat, Enzo, and a corn snake, Korben. (Fear Free Certified).

    Hospital Manager

    Brandi was new to the veterinary world, but has  now worked in management for 5 years. She has always had a love of animals and is enjoying learning the medical aspects of the hospital while helping the daily operations run smoothly. She loves the family-feeling between the hospital staff and seeing how much everyone cares about the clients. She has two French bulldogs of her own, Scout and Olive who are both lovable goofballs.  (Fear Free Certified) 

  • Malcolm Montgomery
    Malcolm M, LVT
    Licensed Veterinary Technician

    Malcolm began at Fort Hunt working in the kennel and then moved up to become a vet assistant. As kennel manager he aims to grow the boarding facilities while making them as safe and comfortable as possible. He has his bachelor’s in cinema studies with a minor in music production and is currently pursuing his vet technology degree. At Fort Hunt he enjoys building relationships with clients, and being very hands-on as an assistant in order to learn as much as possible. He hopes to one day specialize in radiology as an LVT. In his spare time he plays five instruments including the piano, and he enjoys singing, producing electronic music and playing timpani in community orchestra. (Fear Free Certified)

    Veterinary Assistant/LVT Student

    Trinity is currently enrolled in Penn Foster to become a licensed veterinary technician. Her favorite interests are parasitology and surgery. She previously majored in psychology and became a certified vet assistant, while also volunteering for the Humane Society. In her free time Trinity cuddles up with her cat, Zuko, and her Pomeranians,  Meelo and Trix, and enjoys hiking, reading and traveling. (Fear Free Certified)

    Monica M
    Assistant Kennel Manager/Veterinary Assistant

    Monica was born in El Salvador and came to Virginia when she was 5 years old. She plans to become a licensed veterinary technician and hopes to specialize in animal physical therapy. Working with the animals at Fort Hunt allows her to de-stress, especially the puppies! In her free time she likes to practice yoga and kazaxe, or spend time outside hiking with her two dogs, Coco and Bentley. She also has an African Grey, Kiki, and two bearded dragons Pablo and Chichi.     Veterinary Assistant

    Roxan has been with Fort Hunt for 29 years. She grew up in Alexandria VA and graduated from Mount Vernon HS. She has multiple animals of her own including her dog Sydney, several cats, a bird and mouse. She takes a special interest in the fat, or angry cats that come into the hospital. She also enjoys helping out with all senior pets. In her free time she enjoys playing video games and adding to her Snoopy collection. (Fear Free Certified)

    Veterinary Assistant

    Gaby is new to the veterinary field but is picking it up quickly. She enjoys watching surgeries and asking many questions to the doctors. Her interest in the field is growing and she hopes to study to become a veterinarian with a specialty in zoo animals. In her free time she enjoys taking care of her own dogs, Suky and Pepper. She is also fluent in Spanish and enjoys working with our Spanish speaking clients.

    Receptionist

    Kelly joined the Fort Hunt team as a receptionist in 2017. She was born and raised in a small town near Waco, TX before moving to Alexandria, VA in 2013 to be with her partner. Outside of work, Kelly enjoys reading and spending time with her wife and their pets, including their dog Skilos, two cats, Ares and Yancy, and two guinea pigs Ginger and Saffron. (Fear Free Certified)

    Receptionist

    Born and raised in Southern California, Verena moved to Virginia in 2015 and joined the Fort Hunt family in July 2018. While she began working here with no pets, she soon was able to rescue her beloved cat Katinka. Outside of work she enjoys walking, hiking, camping, visiting museums, watching movies and most of all, taking pictures of adorable Katinka.

    Erin has been on our receptionist team since 2018. At Fort Hunt she enjoys learning something new everyday and getting to interact with all the animals that come in. She also enjoys the positive work environment and the friendships that have formed with co-workers. Her free time is spent with her husband, son and goofy pup Sam.
