Jerry Hinn, DVM: Dr. Jerry Hinn is the owner of Fort Hunt Animal Hospital and is originally from the Virginia area. He earned his DVM degree from the University of Georgia. Dr. Hinn has a special interest in taking care of birds, exotic pets, dogs, and cats and providing surgical care, dental care, and nutritional and vitamin supplements. He is a member of the American Veterinary Dental Association, the Critical Care Society, and the National Veterinary Disaster Relief Association.
Karen Davis, DVM: Dr. Davis is one of our expert Alexandria veterinarians at Fort Hunt Animal Hospital. She helps pet owners understand what a procedure is and why it is being done, and she takes the time to make your pets comfortable at every visit. We are happy to have her on our team.
Lelis Gomez, DVM: Dr. Gomez is originally from Caracas, Venezuela, but came to the United States in High School. She earned her undergraduate degree in Biology at Florida International University before heading to Ross University in Saint Kitts and Nevis. Then, she was accepted at Texas A&M Veterinary School, where she earned her vet degree. We are excited to have her at Fort Hunt Animal Hospital!
Dr. Gelatt: Dr. Gelatt grew up in a small town in Pennsylvania where she grew a love for animals through pets of all species and sizes. She received her Bachelor's degree in Animal Science at Cornell University. She then earned her Veterinary Degree from Ross University in Saint Kitts and Nevis, completing her clinical rotations at the University College of Dublin. In her free time, she enjoys reading and being outside doing anything from hiking to laying by the pool. She also rescued 2 pets from St. Kitts, Crookshanks her cat and Remus her dog.
