At this time, we have decided to pause seeing new clients.  This decision was made so that we can continue providing the individualized, high-quality care that our clients are used to.

We understand that finding personalized veterinary care can be challenging, and we sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this may cause. Please know that this is not a permanent change. We are hopeful that, as our team grows, we will once again be able to welcome new clients and return to more flexible scheduling. We will be directing all new clients to our sister hospital, Hayfield Animal Hospital, until we are able to resume those appointments.

For our existing clients, we greatly appreciate your patience and understanding as we work hard to accommodate as many of your pets as possible.

At WhiskerCloud, we take web accessibility seriously and are committed to making all our sites as accessible as possible. We are doing this by following the guidelines of Section 508 and the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG 2.0) established by the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C) designed to make websites more accessible and easier to navigate, particularly for people who may have disabilities.

Here are some of the ways we make our website more accessible:

  • Browser Zoom: We provide the option to enable browser zoom to allow visually impaired users to read the text of the website.
  • Alt tags for images: We use alternative text (alt) tags for all images on our websites, which are designed to provide a description of the image for individuals using screen readers. This is intended to enable users with visual impairments to understand the content of the images on our websites.
  • Consistent page structure: We strive to make our websites have a consistent page structure, which is intended to make it easier for users to navigate and understand the content of the website.
  • Mobile Menu Aria Support: Aria attributes are added to the mobile (hamburger) menu on the website to make it more accessible to users.
  • Keyboard accessibility: We strive to make our websites keyboard accessible, which is intended to enable individuals with motor disabilities to more easily navigate our website using a keyboard instead of a mouse.
    • Dropdown Menu Keyboard Navigation: Allows easier navigation of dropdown menus with the keyboard.
  • Video and audio transcripts: Upon request to digital@whiskercloud.com, we would be happy to provide transcripts for all video and audio content on our websites to help individuals with hearing impairments have better access to the content.
  • Accessibility testing: We conduct regular accessibility testing on our websites to monitor our progress in meeting accessibility standards and strive to identify any issues that need to be addressed.

We are actively working on improving our website to make it more accessible as outlined by Section 508 of the U.S. Rehabilitation Act and the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines of the World Wide Web Consortium.
